What is a SIL Home?

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is an NDIS support where a person with disability will live with other people and share common household areas or have a seperate customized accommodation as per ndis approval.
We at coastwide, pride ourselves in creating a unique sil community living model for each client aligned with their NDIS plan. Our Supported Independent Living team take the time to get to know each client to carefully match them with the right people who share similar personalities, interests and goals. We also have a strong focus on matching people who choose to live together and locating a home that suits each individuals needs and requirements. We work with them to ensure a smooth individualised transition. Our Unque Support includes,
- 24/7 Specialised Support during overnight, short stays and extendended stays.
- Fully accessible Homes with support you need.
- Nutritious and delicious meals including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
- Social acitivies, excursions, relaxation therapies, exercise sessions and more during the stay.

What is Bequest Home Management?
How does it help us ?
Many families have been looking after their loved ones with disability and sometimes they worry about what happens to their loved ones when they are no longer able to care for them.
At Coastwide, We support families who wish to bequest their home so that their loved ones can remain living in the same family home where the feel safe and comfortable. We will ensure the bequesting works in the favour of your loved ones.
While we look after your loved ones on your place we ensure they receive all the support and care they need as per ndis plan they have been granted by warm and caring staff from coastwide Disability Care who are well trained to provide homely and comfortable environment for our clients.
Looking for Short term Accommodation?
- Formerly known as Respite Care
Short-term Accommodation (STA) is an inegral and versatile part of disability care process. It allows participants and carers much needed break from time to time. We at Coastwide fully support such accomodation for our clients with all ndis support and care approved. During this time our firendly staff can help you with:
- 24/7 Support with an individualised approach
- Medication management and administration
- Help with personal care activites with compassion and respect
- Help with Household tasks such as meals preparation, cooking, shopping, cleaning etc.
- Behaviour Support Assistance
- Community participation and social skills development
- Medical Assistance including transport for medical appointments
